This 4,000 sf apartment on NYC’s Central Park West was originally three separate units. The units had been combined in 1990 and, to say the least, the terrazzo floor and dark paneling had become tired and claustrophic. The new owners realized the unit cried out for a gut renovation. We laid down 8” wood flooring, tore out the paneling, installed a stunning Bulthaup kitchen, transformed the master bath with an Italian marble porcelain look, and used mosaic tiles from Artistic Tile in the other bathrooms. The living room features two Metropolitan armchairs from B&B Italia in a gorgeous burgundy velvet and a large leather clad coffee table by Baxter. The dining room boasts a Lindsey Adelman fixture over a B&B Pathos table, with wallpaper by local New York artist and designer, Jill Malek.
